How we choose

The Vetted Desk is a curated shortlist. We don't run a lab and we don't claim hands-on testing. We do the research legwork for you, so you start from options that buyers already rate highly.

What gets in

• Consistently strong buyer feedback. We only consider products with a high average rating across a large number of verified-purchase reviews, and we read the patterns in those reviews, the good and the bad.
• Fit for the job. Specs have to match the problem the guide solves (for example, size for small spaces or adjustability for long workdays).
• Sensible price for what you get. We favor products that deliver well for their price range, not just the cheapest or the most expensive option.
• Sold by reputable stores with clear return policies.

What we don't do

• We don't accept payment to include a product.
• We don't copy customer reviews. We summarize recurring themes in our own words.
• We don't make medical or health claims.
